Flame Monitor - E100 120VAC 50/60HZ
The FIREYE FLAME-MONITOR System is a microprocessor based, burner management control system with self diagnostics, non-volatile memory and a vocabulary of 42 different messages which scroll out on the message center to provide the operator with status and failure mode information.
The FLAME-MONITOR Series is designed to provide the proper burner sequencing, ignition and flame monitoring protection on automatically ignited oil, gas and combination fuel burner. On a safety shutdown, the message center will advise the operator that the control is in "Lockout" and scroll a message indicating the cause as well as position in the sequence it occurred.
The FLAME-MONITOR uses the same wiring base as the Fireye D Series and C Series Controls and is designed to be directly interchangeable with most models without rewiring.
The FLAME-MONITOR can be used with ultraviolet, autocheck infrared, photocell, flame rod or self-check ultraviolet flame scanners by choosing the proper amplifier module.
Special Features Include: remote reset, remote display, data communications interface to retrieve current and historical burner status data from remote terminals.


M-Series Burner Controls
The FIREYE M-SERIES CONTROLS are designed for heating or automatically ignited process burners using light oil, gas or combination light oil/gas fuels (single or multiple burner installations).
The M-SERIES CONTROLS pilot and main flames, utilizing miniature UV, or Flame Rod and Photocell flame detectors. On pilot ignited burners, the main fuel valve will not be energized unless a pilot flame is proved. The control systems automatically cycles the burner on and off as required by the operating control. Manual reset is required following safety lockout.



Flame Amplifier Modules
The Fireye Flame Amplifier Modules are used in conjunction with the appropriate flame scanner to provide flame scanning capability in the Flame-Monitor system. Fiyeye offers ultraviolet amplifiers (EUV1), self check ultraviolet amplifiers (EUVS4), flame rectification amplifiers for use with flame rods and photocells (ERT1), and auto-check infrared amplifiers: E1R1 (standard model), E1R2 (high sensitivity - conult factory before use ), E1R3 (for solid fuels).
Self-checking ultra-violet scanners and amplifiers should be used in applications where the burner firing operation is continuous or where the burner is on for long periors of time (i.e. 24 hours) without cycling. The flame amplifier must be used with the appropriate flame scanners as shown below. When replacing any flame scanner or amplifier, the burner should be cycled on and off several time to ensure proper operation.

Fireye E1R1, EUV1, ERT1, and EUVS4 Flame Amplifier Modules
The Fireye E1R1, EUV1, ERT1, and EUVS4 Amplifier Modules are used in conjunction with the Fireye Flame Monitor system. The moudles provide flame scanning using any of the Fireye Auto Check infrared scanners, standard ultraviolet scanners, flame rod, photocell and ultraviolet self check scanners. After scanner selection the proper amplifier module must be inserted in the Flame Monitor chassis.

* The E1R1 is not to be used with solid fuel applications. It is designed for oil fog rejection. The E1R3 is suitable for all fuel applications and does not contain oil fog rejection.
